Ankle set to Achilles
In this video, we look at the Achilles and how ankle setup determines how—and when—the Achilles actually works. By training on one leg from in-to-out and the other from out-to-in, we create a load path that allows the Achilles to become taut rather than slack. As the body shifts weight, the Achilles is positioned to bear load naturally, transferring force instead of absorbing it. This setup isn’t about stretching or pushing—it’s about alignment, timing, and letting the Achilles do its job.
